"Pre-payment" Control module for automatic irrigation

PRODIMAR has a special electronic module for irrigation control, especially designed to rationalize water consumption, useful not only on agricultural areas, but also for recreational zones, parks, gardens etc... The system allows the water supply through a 'pre-payment' procedure. It has remote-control units (RTUs), which control the opening or closing of the hydrants on a scheduled basis from a central management of irrigation.

The elements of the system are as follows:

• RTU Remote-control Unit: Electronic equipment, weather resistant and battery-powered, which receives commands by radio-frequency, and has a capacity for operating and controlling up to a maximum of 4 hydrants or irrigation points.
• Communication hubs: Receive, through a long-range communication system (PSL, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, etc…), information and commands for the RTUs and are responsible for resending such information to the units under their radio-coverage.
• Central Control System, which allows the adjustment of the irrigation parameters in the RTUs and the collection of information (billing according to consumption of water made or alarms) generated in the remote sites.
