Automatic custody of keys (SERENO)

This project, is mainly aimed a Companies where it is necessary to control a large number of keys, such as business-service Companies like security, maintenance, cleaning, etc.

PRODIMAR has successfully completed the development and deployment in Spain of a ´key custody system´ (SERENO) for the security sector industry-leading Company in this country.

The system allows to carry on an electronic and software tracking of all the issues related to safe-keeping of keys, from the moment of being delivered to the person responsible for their use to their final return. The processes related to the custody of keys are managed through a website application, and they are composed principally of three elements:

• Electronic Key-ring: Allowing the identification through contact and radio-frequency of each and everyone of the Keys. Its operation is completely "passive" and therefore does not require any type of cell.
• Module of Hooks, with 8 hooks per module, all of them connected with the central computer through a communication network (Ethernet), and equiped with several indicators, both luminous and audible, to guarantee the perfect and orderly placement of key-rings in their original locations. Optionally, modular cabinets can be supplied with capacity for 50 or 100 modules of hooks.
• Software Application for custody of keys which covers all processes of management and control of the custodial system.
