A Company in Galicia sells an electronic key - watchman. The project counts with the support of the Xunta. (The Board)

MADRID. The Internet is not just good to complicate relatively easy jobs. Sometimes, to the contrary, and thanks to it, simple solutions can be found to daily problems. In this occasion a Company from A Coruna, PRODIMAR, has developed an electronic system capable of the custody of keys, registering, with security and safety, who uses them and when. So avoiding the complications of the 'traditional method', so to speak, the registering by hand and on paper by the person who collects the key.

The system which has been already commercialised, has been patented, and it has on its side the economical support of the Plan Galego of I+D+i of the Xunta. According to what this Organization has determined, the electronic label is destined to the Companies providing services, which they usually work during a set of hours different to their Clients, so they need to have access to the premises, which implies a great responsibility. With this solution it might be possible to increase the competition and to give the clients a greater reassurance and confidence.

The method is formed by 3 elements: The key rings of electronic identification, a module of hooks to hang them and an information program which controls all the process. A central system controls the position of the hanged key rings and activates an alarm in the case one of them is removed without authorisation.

Prodimar confirms that its solution is cost effective and versatile and very superior to other systems of key-storage.
